Photography is my way of exploring and connecting with the world. I'm Anna Wilson, a Canadian photographer, artist, and educator with a deep curiosity about our environment and our place in it. As a certified Forest Bathing Teacher, I integrate mindfulness and the concept of Creative Flow into my work, emphasizing the connection between nature and the human spirit.
My photography is centered on fostering connection—to the land, to each other, and to ourselves. Drawing inspiration from Eastern philosophies, I use mindful photography to capture the experience of being fully present, highlighting the delicate beauty in every moment.
For me, photography is more than a visual medium; it's a personal expression of mindful living and a therapeutic practice for the soul. I strive to capture the emotions and subtleties that define our relationships with nature, each other, and ourselves.
Whether in the wilderness or exploring exotic landscapes, I seek out new visual experiences that deepen my connection to both the natural and human worlds through a mindful creative process. With a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Photography and over 20 years of experience, I bring extensive knowledge and passion to both my work and teaching. Join me in exploring the world through mindful photography, where every image tells a story, and every moment offers a chance to connect more deeply with nature, life, and our inner selves.
